# Dashboards

> Build visual presentations of your data with charts, filters, and cards.

Dashboards are visual presentations of data with charts, filters, and cards. They provide a live view of your key metrics that stays up to date with your data.

## Creating a dashboard

1. Go to **Dashboards** in the sidebar
2. Click **New dashboard**
3. Add cards using the bento grid layout

## Card types

| Card type       | Use case                                         |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| **KPI card**    | Display a single metric with optional comparison |
| **Chart card**  | Line, bar, waterfall, or other chart types       |
| **Table card**  | Tabular data view                                |
| **Filter card** | Interactive filters that control other cards     |

## Layout

Dashboards use a flexible bento grid layout. Drag cards to reposition them and resize to fit your preferred arrangement.

## Sharing

Share dashboards with team members in your organization. Viewers see live data based on their access permissions.
